I got a letter from GM to bring my '22 to a dealer to install the missing rear park assist. It was marked as a $50 credit on the invoice, (chip shortage at the time). It's at the dealer right now, I'll see what the difference is when they call to pick it up. The upgrade is free, as is my 1st oil change they're doing also. Today was the 1st time driving it since last fall's storage. I had almost forgotten what a treat it was to drive.
C8 Recall: Rear park assist

Well, supposedly I now have rear park assist. I see the camera view the same as before, but nothing different stands out.
Pretty sure I had that before. Last summer I tried to back up at a gas pump to reach the hose. Heard beeps because some yahoo in a minivan had pulled up 2 feet from my bumper.
That's active too but it's an entirely different alarm. I hear that one backing out of the garage and a car rolls by on the street.
