I noticed a lot of reading on my C7 infotainment system as well.
I skimmed over it BUT found that most was retained by reviewing it again in more detail
on a weekend day while sitting in my Corvette. Pairing the phone and learning about the PDR
and a few other things as I went through all the aspects of the infotainment system.
I spent a whole day ... as I planned it that way.
Realizing quickly that there is a fair bit to store in the old noggin ... also finding that the
launch of my C7 from parking it ... requires a mental checklist of setting a few things ...
and waiting for the phone pairing to be recognized.
It is quite a chore and I am sure the C8 system will be no different ...
AND I have grown to like the system very much and found my preferences
for mapping & etc.
My recommendation is for C8 people to plan a good day in their new C8 just to
review all the manuals while in your car. Then the "New C8 Pilot" will be good to go.

It is helpful to have this PDF Manual for you to read as you wait delivery. Thanks for posting it.
