C8 delivery confirmed

The salesman said they won’t deliver here until the winter is almost over . Which suits me just fine , we have lots of snow and I will never drive my c8 in the winter.
It depends on where it will sit and wait. It likely won't sit at Bowling Green as JCT is contracted to move cars within 10 days. If it sits in Toledo it will sit outside. I'm sure your dealer knows more than me, but they are shipping to many snowy locations in the states.
Edit: Do you know the status code? 4B00 could mean it will sit at Bowling Green

Don’t have a status code, will call him to find out .

Odd, I haven't heard of a 2 month transit time for Canadian deliveries.

My dealer was getting cars the week after they were built. Even if it was going rail, that's a long time.

Oh well, if you aren't planning on driving it till Spring, this works out for you.
A guy in Sask or AB (I forget where) took over a month I forget exactly, but it sat and sat in several locations.

My C8: built August 27/20; at 4300 ("immediate delivery"; waiting to be shipped) September 10; shipped September 14, delivered by train to Calgary Alberta Saturday September 26 (morning) and delivered to Calgary dealer by truck that same day (afternoon); unwrapped by dealer following Monday; ready for p/u 1 or 2 days later (I waited until the w/e). So it was about a month from production to delivery and only 2 weeks by train from Kentucky to Alberta. But perhaps I was lucky since Murray's correct: I remember someone else who had their C8 sit around and not move "forever" and he could never find out why. But even so, 2 months seems odd for TCinthe6 unless they're driving it up to Canada. :D And yes we're told that Canadian C8 deliveries will occur in the winter months.
