Question C8 Convertible Drill hole at rear window to drain water?

Did somebody ever drill a hole to drain water accumulation at the bottom of the rear window on their C8 convertible. I start to have dammage on the gasket of the rear window.

No. I never did.
What kind of damage? Is it ripped? Disintegrating? Caused by water? Caused by the window going up and down?

I had the same drainage issues (they all do) but no issues. I think drilling a hole could lead to other problems. I’d have an experienced C8 tech look at it.

Sorry - I should have been more clear. Should this not be a warranty issue that the dealer can look after? Have you asked and what was their response?
