I know a bunch of people have transitioned to 12V Lithium, but I am not there yet.


I put a lithium battery on my bike early last season, and I am convinced there was a voltage drop or something that bricked my ECU.


The benefits sounded good:  lighter, smaller, stronger CCA.  But after 5 years of problem free ownership, I changed the battery over to a new Shorai, and 2 rides in, my ECU threw 2 injector codes that could not be fixed.


For now if I upgrade batteries in my car, I'll stick to Optima.
