There is NO good place for a license plate that looks good on the front of a Corvette and many jurisdictions don't even require one on the front. If they don't need the front plate, I doubt that the rest of us need it either. Pester the people you elected to do something about it. Enough flack might just get some action. I installed the low mounted retractable license plate bracket. I just have to remember to put the plate up before going out on the highway.

Personally , I can't stand any front plate on a vette .
Ontario is looped in the head for this law .

A few years back I stopped a guy in a Viper with no front plates. He had the plate on the passenger floor. He said his mount broke and he ordered a new one from the dealer. I smiled and said "Really?" Then he admitted it makes the front of his car look crappy. Being a car guy I understood and let him go ... with a warning.:nono:

See you're one of the few good guys. Here in Winnipeg there is zero tolerance policy on front plates. I recall a few years back a guy (50's plus) picked up his Corvette from a dealer on a Saturday and it never came with a front bracket so the guy took delivery anyways. On Sunday night he was pulled over going down Portage ave heading home and got pulled over. He explained the situation, said l just picked up the car yesterday and look it only has 77 kilometers on it and that his dealer had ordered him one. Cop didn't care about his story and wrote him a ticket anyways. Got to love the slogan on the side of police cars here in town.

Manny's help

That is my Shark Grey 15 Z51 that manny is showing in the pictures.
I had purchased some Fibreglass side skirts from a vendor in ohio before i got my car. i purchased the gm splash guards at the same time. unfortunately my car was way later than i expected, and i had the side skirts in my house for 9 months. the splash guards went on perfectly in about 20 minutes but the side skirts were a nightmare. they pulled the screws out of the body and there was a gap of about 3/4 of an inch behind the door. I contacted the manufacturer in ohio, sent pictures and was told to go to a body shop and maybe they can fix the problems they would not give me a refund or replace the skirts. i was totally upset with them. I called manny and he said to check for warpage and the fibreglass parts were all over the place, not even close to ever being able to being installed correctly. I then ordered the ACS side skirts and had Manny install them as well as the front splitter and MTI shifter.
What a great place to do business, i could not have been happier with the installs and the way i was treated at the shop.
i have not gotten around to doing something about the license plate holder. it is quite and eyesore, and i will tackle that in the near future.
I have followed C7 Jakes advice before and found him very helpful. He has some excellent ideas, and is a great source of where to get products and how to install etc. i will take his advice and modify my front licencse plate bracket very soon.
thanks Bill
