C7 mid pipe question

I am thinking about going with a set of long tube headers on my 2017 Grand Sport and wonder if i can just have my stock mid pipe modified to fit? Has anyone done this and is it just not feasible to get the performance out of it?
Shouldn't be any reason the mid pipe can't be cut and modified but my question would be why the headers? If you are looking for more HP, that's an expensive setup to gain only 30 or so whp. If you want HP, spend the extra and do a camshaft mod and tune as well. Those mods will put you close to 500 whp.

Otherwise, give one of the area Corvette performance shops a call and see what they recommend.

I changed my headers to ARH and did a Borla mid pipe and B&B exhaust. If you're going to have better exhaust might as well have a better air intake as well. I would go with a Halltech. Did a few other small mods, dyno showing 530 at the crank., 2015 C7 M7.

You did an engine dyno or mathed the numbers from rear wheel?
