I'm just looking around to gauge the price of forged ones but can't find anything in Canada. It's only a matter of time before the OEM rims crap out.

20x12 rears with +59 offset and 19x10 fronts with +43 offset. The rarest combination of wheel specs on the planet apparently.

Anyone also have luck with slightly different offsets like +40 on the front?

+40 vs. +43 offset is nothing. Basically the face of the wheel will move out 3mm when it's +40 vs. +43.

You're good to go, there will be no issues with running a +40 on the front with a 19x10" wheel.

I run 19x10.5" +40 and 20x12.5" +47 on my 19 ZR1
Is there a guideline on the offsets and how hard you can deviate? The manual just says not to deviate from any of the OEM measurements but doesn't give specifics about anything. I can't find rear wheels near +59 either. I see +47 works on yours just fine so that's good, I just don't wanna get too close to the brake calipers and have small debris get stuck between. Or scrape the inside front fenders during sharp turns.

Check this video, I am also shoping for forge wheels for my 2019 GS and I wanted to make sure they also fit the ZR1. Needed explanation about offset. Its hard to find forge wheels in Canada for these cars, most of wheels companies who offer the wide body corvette sizes are in California. Not that easy to pick the wright model. I will post pictures as soon I decide.

I am confuse, at 47 offset, the wheel is move 12mm towars the inside, the 1/2 wider in 13 mm, 6.5 inside and 6.5 outside, the wheel, by calculation (13 - 6.5 = 5.5), should be 5.5mm towards the inside, looking at the video, it look flush with the fender, did you have to use a 1/4 (6mm) spacer?

Check out Corvette Performance on this site….Apex Race Parts…they make some very well made and competitively priced flow formed and forged rims for C7 Corvette narrow body and wide body (G/S-ZR1), by going down 1 size in rim (19” to 18”) in the front and going up in series of tire gives more cushioning =less chance of cracking/splitting rims…just my 2cents

I don't use a spacer with my wheels, direct bolt up.

Look at this, will explain everything.

Going down a size is definitely going to counter cracking/splitting but so is getting forged rims instead of cast aluminum. They can take a stronger beating

Not listed here (yet) but I am selling a set of Forgeline wheels. They are a 19/19 setup (10" wide F and 12.5" wide R)

Had them on my C6Z and ZR1 for a short period until I got my RSR wheels.

Forged wheels all come from south of the border or overseas, nothing is made in Canada. You can get them from a Canadian distributor of course, but they basically act as the middle man.

Go to the “Apex Race Parts” website and read , read and watch videos on YouTube about their forged rims …their rims are put through extreme tests ( more than some other manufacturers) , their’forged’ line just being released now for C7’s. There are some places in Canada that carry that brand. Also no brake clearance issues. Another 2cents worth , pennies aren’t worth anything in Canada 😂

The VS-5RS is the one I am looking at. I am going to call them tomorrow. The application for C7 wide body is 19 X 10.5 ET 36 and 20 X 12.5 ET55. when I put these number in the offset calculator, it make the front wheels pop out 13mm and 18mm for the back. I was checking on my car with a strait edge and I am not sure it clears the fenders. I did check all there videos and I think it is a great product. Front ones are 879 USD, available in April 2022 and the rear ones are 979 USD and available in June 2022. Will post there answers this weekend.

Type your #'s in again for the rear wheels. +55 offset on a 12.5" wide wheel puts the face out 10.4mm and 2.4mm closer to the suspension compared to the stock rear 12" wide wheel +59 offset.

All 4 Apex wheels that sizing and offset will clear just fine.

Hi Tony. Just spoke with a ''fitment specialist '' at Apex, these wheels are a very tight fit and they suggest I give a little more negative camber to clear fenders, this is exactly the opposite of what I am trying to do. I just receive Granatelli rear toe link to have more toe adjustment in the rear. I dont track my cars, just cruising and road trip, I run my ZR1 at -.25° on 4 corners with oem caster and toe, the handling is perfect, my tires last way longer and the steering is les agressive on the roads in truck's tracks (sorry, I dont know the real word in english), this is exactly what I am want and going to do with the GS. The rear toe adjustment on the C7 won't let you set the toe to oem spec if you bring the camber to -.7° or less. If I install these wider wheels from Apex and correct the camber to -.25°, the top of the wheels will pop out and may rub on fenders in situation that make the suspension travel a little more. The search will start again for wheels, I have to find oem specifications to be safe. Cup wheels can be found , forge, made by another company but If I am going to spend 5000$ + , I would like to have something different. I also receive a magnetic gage and the tool to hold the magnetic gage on the rear spindle is on it's way to so my next alignment with the Granatelli link, the camber to -.25° and the rear caster set correctly, this car will run nice and smooth.

^^^^^^Your car is a C6 ZR1 correct??? I keep thinking we were discussing a C7 GS here but I guess that's the car the OE poster was inquiring about wheels for.

If you don't track and just drive the car on cruises and stuff I'm guessing running only -1/4' camber all around should be fine but if you do some corner carving on those cruises at some decent speeds you will be wearing out the outer edge of your tires. That tiny amount of - camber on the rear wheels tend to make the car twitchy when taking corners at speed (meaning tendency to oversteer). Most cars run at least -1' of camber in the rear to make the car more stable when corning aggressively.

As for the front wheel offset +36 on a 10.5" wide wheel moves the face of the wheel out 10.4mm compared to the stock C6 ZR1 +40mm 10" wide wheel:

but compared to a stock C7 ZR1 front wheel it's 4.3mm out but 8.3mm towards the suspension but it will still fit no issue.

I actually wished my RSR front wheels were a +36mm offset as I tend to find the front wheels are tucked in more compared to the quite radical +47 offset of my rear wheels.

I don't recall what suggested alignment settings should be on a C6 ZR1 but in most cases GM will probably want at least -1' camber on the front wheels.

I had my alignment checked last year on the ZR1 and had it adjusted to my specs (fairly close to GM specs but I deviated from them on camber). I plan to track once my car is ready so currently I run -1.25' camber on the front wheels, +8' caster and stock toe settings. On the rear it's -1' camber, +0.6' caster and 0 toe. Car goes straight down the road (with some sensitivity in truck ruts but hey........race car) and corners like a dream (stable and predictable). I've never had issues or major inner tire wear on all my cars running -1' camber.

I had camber plates on my GT500 and also ran -1.25' camber on the front wheels and that car also drove pretty good. For my POS everyday driver in the summer time (Suzuki SX4) I run a 17x8" wheel 245/45/17 Indy 500 and I have camber bolts on that car and also set up with -1' camber. That car this year I bought and plan to run a 17x8.5" wheel with the same size tire so I might adjust my alignment accordingly we'll see.

- camber is good, if you don't go too crazy with it tire wear is minimal for regular street and limited spirited driving.
