I recently posted a thread on the horizontal distance between the clutch pedal and the brake pedal. Mine was less than 2 inches and I got sick of slamming on the brakes while shifting. I mentioned I saw a mechanic on the "Motortrend" channel use a torch and bend the vertical section (bar) away. After seeing that there are grooves in the under dash panel for the pedals to travel and that there are at least 4 flammables under this dash, I decided something different. I opened the door, parked my ass on the seat pad which is on the rocker panel, turned to the right, and grabbed the clutch pedal bar with one hand on the top and one on the bottom. The weight distribution and my strength was enough to move the clutch pedal away from the brake pedal. Very cool how this worked out for me.

I just have to mention that there are an awful lot of C8s on this site. I guess Canada has a whole lot of successful people.........www.lubolink.com
