Hello Got my C3 75 body off the frame last week and the rocker channels on the body both sides are rotted and have to be replaced. Anyone know if you can get a one piece channel or have to get the end pieces and Centre channel, or any used channels out there.. and looking a mechanic/frame corvette specialist also looking for a place to have my frame sandblasted . I’m a bodyman/axallta water base painter got laid off a couple weeks ago. But this is out of my wheel house.. I’m in the Belleville area Ontario Thnx Jim

Pretty sure Corvette Depot sold me two full length channels. Check there. If they don't, let me know and I will check my receipts from a couple of years ago when I had done mostly the same work...including rusted out bird cage at the kick panel locations on both sides and rusted out body mounts. In Alberta, so can't help you with a shop.

I am just cheap so I had some parts made to fix mine. Of course where I work has the capabilities to make me steel parts so that helps a lot. It is a significant amount of work (which I am sure you have figured out). Take a look at my thread of my rebuild. It shows my process for the rockers, I am sure yours would be similar. At least I hope the info is helpful.

Rocker stuff starts at bout page 14 (the link is to there)

I haven't gotten much done on the car in the last year. Probably because we bought and rebuild a camper last winter. I do hope to get back at it in the next month or so though!

Damn that looks like hell, lol so to change the channels even with aftermarket parts do you have to cut off the Fiberglass rockers out to change it? I have my body on a cart, concentrating on the chassis first, then moving on to the rails, the body is in final primer..,

Well I suppose you could do it from the underside. I was worried about finding more rust and getting good welds so I got the fiberglass out of the way to do it. I guess it really depends how bad your rockers are and where you are going to have to be welding. My biggest problems were uncertainty.
