Well in 3 days i will be leaving for Buffalo Niagra in New York for the annual C3 gathering. Went last year for the first time and i was hooked. Everyone there either has one in the garage for occasional drives, in pieces waiting for reassembly (like mine) or they drive it to the gathering. So it ends up there are all generations there in the parking lot. Its a very busy 3 days with lots of touring, this year we will spend one afternoon at Bairs Corvettes and I am using this day to my advantage to get a new acrylic targa top, yeah no freight to pay. For those of you who are C3 lovers you should check out our gathering some time.

I think that it was for another C3 forum get together, not the big one most of us are well aware of. Talked with a friend who is part of a Buffalo area Corvette club he didn't know anything about it but he asked around. Another club member said he saw a few C3's in the area talked with one of them and was told about the forum's annual gathering with this year being held in the Erie/Buffalo area.

The C3 forum is another forum as this one that I belong to as well. The annual gathering is just a group of people that get together every year at a different location. In 2014 I went to Appleton wisconsin and I was hooked. This year Buffalo Niagra, 30 hours one way for me to drive but worth every mile. There are many that go every year and we seem to have new ones every time, and they as I are hooked. We spend four days touring, doing a lot of eating and great fellowship, this year I am making the trip to Tacoma Washington. Every one there has one passion the corvette. Not all are driving C3's but have owned one or perhaps leave it in the garage. last year it was about half C3's and then C4, C5, C6 and C7's, some of us go a long ways and the newer ones offer more comfort and certainly better gas mileage. There was around 30 cars that attended this year and as always we draw a crowd where we go. One day was at Bairs corvettes and they pulled out all the stops for us. Demonstrations of all sorts, history on their start and a magnificent meal to end the day, we were also joined by a more local club for the day so there would have been probably 75cars or so. Its just a great time had by all. I am a fan of all the corvette forums one can learn so much from everyone who spends time on these places. I have learned a lot from this forum as well and am thankful for the moderators who maintain it.
