C1 luggage rack

Is anyone aware of the Amco luggage rack being a dealer option for the 58-62 'vette and recognized by NCRS as such?

I own a 1961 'vette and have an Amco luggage rack on the trunk.

I remember an article stating that NCRS accept this as a dealer option. Can anyone confirm this?
