I ordered up a couple items from Corvette Central for the C3,
A Cowl Induction fresh air Plenum and an Indy Pace Car front Spoiler
A bit disappointed on recieving the Spoiler, it had not been packed very well and the pieces rubbed together scuffing the finish.
But a bit of sanding and a quick repaint helped.
It has a lot more aggressive profile than the stocker, plus it extends out to cover the tires, should help a bit with cooling.
I also received a Fresh Air Plenum for a 73 C3,( they didn't offer Cowl Induction for the 75's)
After much trial and error I sanded the plenum contours to fit my hood.
After 432 tweaks to get it to fit, got it as close as I could.
Cut out the blank in the cowl out of the hood. Something weird about taking the knife to one of your toys, makes you feel sick.
But, Thanks to Somebuddy for having some fiberglass resin and hardener,(and Good Burgers... Thanks Buddy, I was hungry)
Will sand it out and paint in the morning, Wine is tasting pretty good about now....
