Hey Bearly Flying Anytime you are interested in lending a hand I will take you up on it , so be careful...lol
I have give myself a deadline on this one and I am not even sure I believe it so......
Anyway my first plans are to finish this car as a NHRA stock eliminator car and race it for a few years here are a few progress pictures

Ya it's going to want some attention ,but I think it will be very cool when it's done I am excited about it and it's encouraging when other people are interested thanks again

Wow! Awesome project! I'm really impressed as I wouldn't have any idea where to start but it looks like you're on your way. I'm really looking forward to seeing this project.

Thanks for the shop comment I am located 3 miles west of Stettler on hwy 12 , yes we do have a few neat customers cars on the go.
So you lived here ? We must know each other

A friend of mine in town....just completed a 1960 full restoration in a car in not as nice shape as yours....and put it on a c5 frame with a 4-speed tranny (not sure which engine he put in)...but I will query......
 
That's pretty neat I like seeing these old treasures come out, as sometimes you think they have all been found especially old vette's of this era. Thanks for sharing
