Last time I tried to buy a C8 from a BC dealership for (basically) MSRP, I was told I had to be a BC resident. Something to check into, for anyone not in BC interested in this car.

Very glad I did not pursue this car as my dealer called me today and I received an allocation! 
If you're still waiting for a Z06 and are still #63, that would meet your "more than a year" criteria.
Reached out to them out of curiosity, sold factory order so not available. Current waitlist to order stingray 3-4 years

Weird. I was told to put a deposit down immediately to secure it.

But I already have a 2021 C8 HTC 2LT that I am driving and trading in when Z06 comes in
PS: my dealer got 1 allocation so I moved up to at list #62 if no one dropped out LOL
