Only a handfuls of vets at the show but I find it interesting that every time a car is modified the vet engine is used. Must be the reliability performance thing.

back in the 60's there was one of those running around scarborough.....327 sbc powered. :coolgleam: back in those days there were some pretty bizarre swaps, i remember a renault powered by a 472 caddy !!!
There's a Datsun 260Z around here with a SBC in it hooked up to a Keisler 5-speed. I'm amazed at how well it fits. Goes to show you just how compact the SBC really is.

There was one at Manny's sitting there recently waiting to go into something and yes it looked puny.......very small sitting up on the stand. It's amazing what the General has done with these engines.
