So its off, called western corvette in Calgary to see if they had any shorter straps, which they don't, so Jason asked how my sewing skills are. Knowing how mine are, I declined to sew them myself, luckily we still have a cobbler in town so we did a double overlap and took 2 feet out of the straps. For some reason the body came off rear heavy, may have to shorten the back straps when I put the body back on, just not sure if I should do a full foot or not. Kind of freaked when I saw the passenger door, but it popped back out once the car was on the dolly, and both doors work as they are supposed to. Things I screwed up on, forgot to siphon the fuel tank, disconnect the emergency brake cable and the tv cable got hooked on something and pulled out of the trany. I think I lost a easy gallon of sweat doing this.:Wtf: Due to the tilt it was a pain in the butt to get it on the dolly. Had to cut one body bolt, and 3 out of the 4 brackets are rusted through. will have to build a support to keep the front end up till it goes back on. Is it possible that there were no shims? Could not find any or did they all rust away? Also I'm not very computer savvy, so could I have added this to the other thread? Hope everyone enjoys the rest of thier long weekend. Thanks George
