Blue Jays October Run

Well they came up a little short but it has been a looooong time since Canada had October baseball.

They give it their best and it was entertaining. Who would have thought at the start of the season the Jays would have been playing in late October? Thanks for the entertainment and tension, it was on occasion a little too much to bear.

Now like many other Canadian cities already have we just need a professional hockey team.

It was enjoyable while it lasted. There were times I was at the hockey game (AHL IceCaps) and checking my phone to see how the Jays were doing. AND I was not the only one doing it.

Yep, too bad they couldn't have quite squeezed out a win but it was a good run.

Very proud of our Jays this year.
But for a call, a missed fly, or an otherwise stroke of luck, our Jays could have gone to the 'big dance'.

No worries, they did us all proud --- next year should be equally or more fantastic.
