I'll make a long story short. Member "dirtyrider000" is a scammer. They are a newer member but will direct you to another member who is not, by providing and email. The email is not that member's account would be my guess.When you email what is supposed to be the other member, they will provide you with photos of the item you want. Complete with today's date and your name on a piece of paper when requested and so on. They are well spoken etc. It is a scam. Scammers don't have the item so they cannot send you pictures etc. The person I was directed to did all I asked for pics etc. Sent and e-transfer and noticed on the deposit confirmation that the name on the accepting account was Nigerian. After I thought I was scammed they even continued to reply to my emails for 2 days. They were far smoother than normal and had a top notch vocabulary etc. Firs time I've ever been taken, out of a lot of online dealings.

I know a guy that might have one in this forum,he goes by @Kerf and I haven't seen him on here for couple of days.I actually called him, no response. You can reach him via email- [email protected]

Seems strange as he has only made one post in total…….how did all of this actually transpire ?

Also good reminder to all to take a moment and never trust anyone online but especially new members.

I;m aware dirty had only one post. He replied to my ad saying Kerf on here had the intake. He supplied an email. I started talking to who I thought was kerf. He had photos and did all I said' pictures of item with my name and date etc. Scammers don't have a product to show you so it looks legit but wasn't. I sent money, it never came, The end.

!st burn for me after a ton of online business. They are usually easy to spot, Band grammar and vocabulary etc. Not this guy. Photos with the date and my name as requested etc.

That sucks for sure. It’s getting harder all the time to tell what’s legit and what’s a scam these days. You really do have to check and double check darn near everything unfortunately. Sorry you got burned. Have you reported it to the authorities ? Or is there any point ? That email address was no doubt a burner. There is a special place for scum like that . In the same place that Trump will likely end up in. Of course the “ Devil “ is in the details.

Me too! She never made it here from Russia! ;)


Not really a laughing matter, but one has no other option but to let it go. Live and Learn and hope others don't fall prey to that crap.
