It's unclear just how much of a draw this update has on the battery, but many say the Corvette 3.3 amp maintainer is not enough and might even be as much as 10 amps,m though that sounds a bit high for a computer to draw.

A thread at the midenginecorvetteforum suggests that waiting for 20 to 30 minutes, and the car will "awaken".
If this update "bricks" your car.

has anyone here installed this update yet? I haven't received it yet
I haven't, but it might not be for 2020's or 2021's for that matter. I know of one 2023 that it happened to south of the border

I did it 3 days ago. Absolutely no problems. Car was in the garage connected to the maintainer. Took less than 10 minutes.

I've had these cars ( 18 ) since the 60's and I happen to know what I'm talking about....
oh snap having 18 of "these cars" in the last 63 years must make you an expert on over the air updates. What the hell was I thinking questioning your greatness.

I installed this update last week in my garage, with the car hooked up to the battery maintainer.

Took about 15 minutes. No issues. The car made a bunch of small clicks and squeals while doing it, but my car has been running fine since after the install. I would assume the update was making some minor adjustments.

Not sure what this OTA update is, but when we finally got Cable in 1976, my parents 1972 Plymouth Duster gained like 20HP...
I use to get all my buddies to fart into the gas tank on my 340 Duster. Shaved 3 tenths of my 1/4 times. Spent more money on baked beans those days than I did on gasoline.... :butt:
