Featured Best Corvette Video Ever ....

Featured Thread
Hey Rruuff ...
I glad you liked it ...
I agree with you that there will be a lot of CCF members in reflection of this video ... lol .

I was 65 by the time we had rounded up the money for a Corvette back in 2012, and it wasn't new. I was always the Chevelle musclecar type of guy with COPO Chevelle and a couple of L78 powered Chevelles amongst others over the years. Last summer I had a heart attack, a quadruple bypass followed by three stents. I'm fine now but lots of people don't survive and miss out on a lot of things that they waited too long to get or do. The "Need" list is often bigger than the "Want" list. I have been more than fortunate.

Like most of us ...we dreamed of a Corvette since we were young.
I had money saved up in 1978 for a Vette.
Met a girl.......proposed....used the money to buy a house and got married in 1980.
Still had dreams of getting one but it wasn't in the cards yet.
Fast forward to 2016 ...married to the same girl with 2 great kids.
It may have taken till 2016 to get her but it was worth the wait!

Wow, this video is exactly the sentiment that I feel for this car. lol. Brilliant!

Is it at all ironic to anyone else that when he dies, he gets a ZR-1 out of the deal? I mean, it is easy to assume that when he dies he goes to heaven and gets his dream, but the irony to me is that the pre-production code-name for the C6 ZR-1 was "Blue Devil".
