22 degrees and sunny here today...so...seeing as I'm off this week and most of my winter preperations around the home are done...I took the 'vette out for a run up Island View Drive to Wiarton and back down highway 6 to home. Even had the t-tops off! Got behind a group of Harleys out for a run.
I cleaned it and all up and put it back into storage in the garage...that was probably the last run for the year...but you never know! Hope everybody got a chance to take their baby out today!

My wife came home from work and wanted to go out for a drive before dinner (my night to bbq!) So off with the cover, off with the t-tops, disconnect the Ctek and back it out of the garage. Ended up burning a 1/4 tank of gas today all together. Had to fill up and add some more Stabil! I'm starting to wonder if this car is ever going away for the winter!! :)

Glad to hear you got out on this wonderful day.
I too made the most of the weather as you just don't know how much more; if any is coming our way. I put in 18 hole of golf, didn't play all that great, but had a great time. On my way home I passed a couple of C6 guys that were out enjoying the day; So as soon as I got home, I took a little spin as well.
Life is good !!

Send some of that nice weather this way!!

I wish we could keep it but the weatherman is calling for more rain and colder temps headed our way. :( Looks like today was a one hit wonder.

Wow, yes another great day. We're also wondering if we'll get any more.
Rain for the next few days but the forecast promises good weather next Friday.
We'll see who wants to meet up next week. Keeping mine on the road as long as possible, plus gas prices are down a little for a change so a little cheaper to cruise. Regular here in Cambridge is $1.159. At the Esso on Mud and Centennial it was $1.146 yesterday -- Tony took advantage of that low price.
Seems years since it was that low. I doubt it will last long ....... :(

Hope you get more good days Greg -- get that baby out as much as you can.

With it being such a beautiful day and the weatherman calling for rain, we too went for a 75 mile run. It's looking wet for the next week with the possibility of flurries this next week. BRRRRR.

Actually Tony filled up at the Pioneer gas bar down the road, @ $1.136.
[trying to turn around to get to Esso, and found the Pioneer instead]

Going home car read 26C !! Then went by Jordan Harbour // Lake Ontario and
suddenly reading was 12C !!! Back inland and we're back to 25C

Fabulous day for a run.

Tony,
welland

Wow, really 'cheap' gas, Tony.:D
It was a nice day.

The next few days should prove interesting with the remnants of Sandy threatening us.

Batten down the hatches.

Took the Corvette out for a drive...:coolgleam: Wanted to turn it around in garage... With all the talk of mods and 600-1000 hp... I decided to Exercise my 350HP my auto trans is awesome... ON the RPM limiter in 1st, and it shifts "right now" to 2nd and goes immediately on RPM limiter, and still spins the tires... I got a nice image of my tread pattern... Car goes straight and now smells like a tire factory.... 350 HP is just right for me.......
