BD Transmission Tool?

Seems like a good mod to do on our cars?
Has anyone done this?

This is addressed in the manual if I recall correctly. If we got every accessory available and recommended we’d have to start towing a trailer…. ;)

I am surprise about this ting. Normaly, on all modern cars, there is a way to put the car in neutral in case of mechanical, accident or else
The vehicle may be equipped with an
electric parking brake and/or an
electronic shifter. In the event of a loss of
12-volt battery power, the electric parking
brake cannot be released, and the vehicle
cannot be shifted to N (Neutral). Tire
skates or dollies must be used under the
non-rolling tires to prevent damage while
loading/unloading the vehicle. Dragging
the vehicle will cause damage not
covered by the vehicle warranty

I don't think that is what I was thinking of. I remember thinking about buying the kit myself so the whole kit would have been somewhere between 1 to 2K if memory serves. That's the kind of price I'd be willing to pay.

The reason why this PRX Engineering mod is better than the DYPART Neutral tool is that on the PRX mod you use the pin to lock it into neutral. With the DYPART Neutral tool, you have to constantly keep pressure on the tool to keep the transmission in neutral while the car is being moved...If you let it slip while it's being moved, you can screw your transmission......At least that's what I have read before. So the PRX mod seems to be better but I would be nervous that when not in use, it's locked by that pin, but what happens if the pin somehow vibrated out and vibrated the lever into neutral while driving?.....
