Quite likely it is mentioned in the owner's manual. As it is for the C7.As mentioned above the C7 has a continuously "live" power outlet on the passenger side of the trunk. It is "live" at all times even when the car is shutdown. Your C8 probably has the same type of arrangement and it would/should be mentioned in the manual
