More bad weather on the way tonight/tomorrow. Freezing rain coming in from the west over Michigan right now. I hope it doesn't last very long. Looks like another day of cancellations tomorrow. :swear:

Okay, where did I leave all that old Grand Sport stuff?

:leaving:

YEp, more bad weather overnight. They're saying from Kitchener and above so we may get some here in Cambridge too.

Roads will be tricky in the morning......take care folks.

P.S. looking forward to some history on the GS Bob. :D

If we have to do a weather hunker-down again, we'll have a look at the 1963 Grand Sport.

This is the replica that John Hinckley (JohnZ) built. I don't know how he could bring himself to sell it.

Wow! I would so take that through Timmy's Drive-Thru.

The best thing about being retired is that, on mornings like tomorrow, I can look out and smile. Then I can go have breakfast and carry on working in the garage getting my indoor work done. Only outdoor work allowed in the summer. I may even take my laptop to the garage too so I can keep up with Bob's 1960s Corvette lessons as well. ;) Bring them on.

Luckily, this has been more of a rain event so far rather than freezing rain. They're calling for 10-15 cm tonight though.

I can't believe how you guys out east are getting pounded by the snow! That is crazy! I think we had 1 cm yesterday. The military was called in due to a state of emergency.

Looking forward to more history on the Corvette! That GS is beautiful! I wonder if the drive through attendant would be able to hear your order! I imagine if you went through there a few times with the same order you wouldn't even have to roll down your window. Just blip the throttle a couple of times and they would know what you want.

Yes Greg, thankfully no freezing rain here either -- sorry to hear of the next 'dump' up there tonight -- the forecast here is only a few centimeters of the white stuff so we get off light again.

It hit 52F at 3:00 pm and is down to 36 with a snow squall. At least they aren't calling for any accumulation. We now return you to Bob and his great '60s Corvette info and pictures. This site gets to be more fun in bad weather and that certainly isn't all bad. :)

It started snowing here around 3pm and a pretty good squall has developed over us now. Calling for 10-15 cm tonight with some areas getting up to 25 cm. Just got home a few minutes ago and winds have really picked up. Roads are getting covered already. I'm in for the night. :(

ok, don't hafta' tell me twice colin :D we're only looking at something like 5cm here. i'm as far north as greg is but far enough east not to be hammered with lake effect. buckhorn lake isn't big enough to do that !!! people ask me if i have hard water ? i say " damn right, look at that lake it's as hard as a rock ".

LOL, Doug, it sounds like I'm harping but really I'm sympathizing -- Won't be long before all this crap is gone and we're back to good times again.

Hope you guys have a good one at the airport this coming Wed. :D

Looks like a bit of a cleanup this morning but not as bad as last week. Some good news...I heard on the radio this morning that spring training starts toaday for pitchers and catchers! Can't be long now; right??
