Back on the road.... where it belongs..

Big week for me, finally got my car back on the road!! What started off as wanting to return to car to its original color ended up with me tearing everything apart. And four years later, here we are!
I have attached a some pics that shows before and after. I am thrilled with the results and eager to hit the road.

I'm always amazed at the endless catalog of phenomenal pictures you (and others on your thread) unearth! Quebec introduced custom plates a few ago so fairly recent pic, but I don't recognize. There is a local 63-67 Stingray club but it stopped the outings a few years back, but I don't remember that ever seeing that particular car, looks to be a 66.
What is interesting is the plate appears to say '427 LS1' (can't make out the last digit 100%). I remember reading in Hot Rod or Corvette Fever many years back (when we still read magazines, ha!) about boring and converting LS1 to 427. So it is possible. Looks like the car was built for driving. Very Nice!

I know it's been a long haul but with the meticulous work you've done, I'm sure you've got lots of fun diving ahead of you ... it's beautiful. You're help on my telescopic steering column was invaluable. John

Thanks John, Have to say, when I first joined this forum, you were in the process of your restoration, 67 siblings! So you were a great source of motivation and help as well, especially sourcing those rare parts!!

Your C2 looks great. With Covid over shadowing us last year, I think a lot of us got a lot done getting closer to completing.Finished 65 Coupe this past spring and now my 67 Nova SS Oshawa car.

Hi Stephane, I'm sure you spotted the fountain at the lake in front of the old presbytery!!
Looking forward to meeting you. Went through the inspection, now I have an appointment next week for alignment with Andre in St-Hubert, then I can start putting some mileage on it. I'll be in touch.
