Hello all,
The title is a bit misleading since I've been back more than a week but work seemed to cut into my time to recap the trip. We took bits and pieces from many forum tips....again, much appreciated.
Anyhows... bright and early Saturday and we were gone... south from Red Deer.. crossed at Cardston and then to St Mary MT. As we had done the road to the sun last year, we meandered south a bit more and took Maries Pass across Glacier... wow, what a great road... all the challenge we live for and no traffic... woohooo...
Then to Hungry Horse for the night and off again to Missoula... to West Yellowstone and into the park for the next day... beautiful scenery and roads but a bit too much dawdling tourist traffic...lol... then down to Virginia City and Jackson WY. From there through the East side of Yellowstone and out the east entrance and some of the best scenery and roads through to Cody WY. Next day off to the Beartooth...well...right up until we hit the top of the pass... not only were we greeted by 32 degree (Fahrenheit) temps but also a massive Sn** storm... unfortunately they had the pass closed so we backtracked a bit and then to Cooke City and Livingston. Next to Havre MT for the last night and home to Red Deer exactly 8 days and 4000km later. My C6 worked like a dream and average 8.9 km / 100km. All in all a great trip... picked every 'off the beaten track' road we could fine and we found some doosies. And no speeding tickets. Two radar traps at 10mph over and they never gave us a second look... phew!

here's a few pics.. hmmmm .. Maybe... Damn I'm technologically challenged.... I think I may have created an album or something...hahaha... called it 60th BD Trip... if it's here somewhere and you can find it there's a few pictures there...

Brenda did a write up and some pics in her blog too if you're interested... BTW she is a much better trip writer than I am... it can be found at http://hpdsinc.blogspot.ca/2015/09/drivin-and-pickin.html you will probably have to copy and paste that as I can't figure out how to hyperlink either...lol...

Enjoy! Eric

OK.... appears I have uploaded pics into both an album and media I guess.... Yup... challenged I am!

Sounds like you guys had a great time. Nice write up.

Hi Eric, sounds like a great trip, the write up by tour wife is excellent. We just finished a Route 66, California Coast and hwy 2 loop.
The great thing about Corvettes is you can, in reasonable comfort, drive them all day long , for days on end. The performance never fades, and with careful packing
they will carry a load.
