Hey everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone was interested in trying their hand at AutoX on Sunday. It's $40 for the day through W.O.S.C.A.. They are a really organized group, and I've been to some of their events in the past (with my old Prelude). AutoX is a really great way to learn car control at a manageable speed. Lots of fun and cheap to do. They have loaner helmets if you don't have your own, and the best part is that they allow passengers! I haven't been to this new venue which is an airstrip, but sounds very promising. Anyone that is interested in going can PM me for my cell or talk to me at Manny's, for the Coping Centre event on Saturday.

So, I just got home from AutoX and what a blast! I got my butt handed to me by a bunch of Miatas, Subarus amd BMW's. I tried to represent the forum and Corvettes in general, as I was the only one. They didn't even know what class to put me in at first because not only am I a Corvette but a Z06! Then when they asked if I was modified...that was a whole other wrench in the system. So, technically I won my class since I was the only one, so if anyone wants to sponsor me as a Solo2 racer, send me a PM.
In all honesty if you ever get a chance to do it, do it. It's cheap, not very hard on the car and loads of fun!
