Automatic Transmission

Hi Guys and Gals,
I understand that GM has been sued by owners of C 7's Z06's due to overheating. I have also read recently that GM has also been sued due to Problems with the Automatic Transmission. Wondering if any one who owns a C7 has had problems or heard of others having this problem? Thanks

Yep I definitely have had a few issues. I have a 2015 with the Z51 package and the A8 and last summer started getting a significant jerking when going from park to drive. I noticed it in prior summers since I purchased the car but it wasn't as pronounced and I would describe it more of a lag. However, it was clear last year something was wrong as it was getting pretty bad. The 8 speed 8L90 transmissions in the 2015 and 2016 Corvette's are what I understand are the problem ones. I had my transmission changed out last fall and the problem has dissapeared. I was told that the issue was resolved in the newly built transmissions. In addition to all of this I just recently started getting a leaky rear axle which turns out is an issue with a seal in the level sensor which is another known issue and isn't a serviceable part so GM Canada just sent me a new differential and it's currently being installed. All of these issues are documented in service bulletins and the warranty has been awesome so all though a pain in the butt I'm grateful that at least the costs are $0.
