Auto refresh feature is annoying

Hi guys. Before I begin, let me say that I truly do like this forum and all it has to offer, but I must say, I find the Auto Refreshing pages on the New Posts section to be rather annoying. I scroll down through the various threads, only to have my page blank out and refresh on its own, now I have to start my scrolling all over again. Is there a way to turn that feature off? I promise to refresh my own page when I think it is necessary. I have never seen a forum with this feature before.

Yep just hit the stop button next to the line that says refreshing in x seconds. Below is the mobile view but similar on a desktop.

Or you can reset the frequency for up to a 5 minute delay if you'd rather with little arrow thingy to the right of the refresh line.......
