Every owner for C5 he must to check his passenger side were is the fender under there ... There is a long screw in the middle in top ECM that screw it's Sharp and the harness after years become very close to the screw and it could case a damage to the harness .. what you do you need to take the screw out and you put the plastic clip

the second thing there is a piece of seal to protect the ECM from the water the seal get old do not touch it leave it after you put the cover back you need to put a rubber seal on top to close the gap so the water doesn't go in
