When you see your car pulling out of your driveway driven by some swine you can call OnStar if you have an account and they can remotely slowdown and then bring the vehicle to a stop and report the exact location to you and the authorities. Doesn’t prevent the theft but it puts a quick end to it unless the vehicle has been put an a trailer.
