Has anyone tried it yet..
Generally speaking, breathing in is relative to breathing out. Doing one doesn't do much without the other.
Also, increasing flow also increases pollutants.
To me, the miniscule gain you might get is not worth the minimum hurt it does to the engine.
But hey, if you want it, then go for it. It's your car.

Sparro , Raccoon and I all have this filter but we all have modified exhausts
They are all different and equally obnoxious lol...

I would not run out and change my filter right now, bit once the current filter required to be changed I would consider this one instead of the OEM filter
I have it, but as Gilles points out we all have modified exhausts so its hard to tell if it does anything. But the fact that its washable and reusable makes it a good buy compared to replacing it with OEM.
The back end was open already, best time to replace...
Taking out the filter is actually easier on the HTC than the coupe believe it or not. Less screws and less carpeting and plastic pieces need to come out on the HTC.
