Started the garage renovations today and the best deal I could find on flooring tiles seemed to be with Costco. My garage floor measures 20x18 and it cost $1076 for this design... Thr front of my garage faces the top and it is intended for the car to fit over the big square and two bikes (1300/1800 VTX) to fit over the smaller.

If anyone can find me the same for cheaper, I am all ears and can cancel the order but I figured...now or never. I stripped the garage of a bunch of drywall, shelves, basketballnet, cloth chairs and whatnot last night, putting them at the end of the drive and they were all gone by this morning; my neighbours love me! Karen hates me as she swore she could make money from it although we are packrats and if I didnt just put it out there, it would never have gone.

I am considering electric heating for this garage and I, unlike most, have the fortunate advantage of having two garages. The second garage is 26x20 and 12' high with a catherral interior... Looking at that four post for inside that one and am getting my 35BTU Modine Hot Dawg gas heater installed next week. The advantage of the bigger garage is its own gas and power source separate from the house but I am open to suggestions for electric heating on my attached house garage. There is a heater blower from the house there but it has never come close to being enough. Who nows though as I am having the insulation and drywalling of the roof finished this week.

Check out the Infa red tube heaters, Somebuddy has one in his garage, it is very good and quick heat recovery after the garage door has been operated.
