Are ya suffering from winter withdrawal ? Be honest who has gone out in the night and sat in their cars fumbling with the shifter .Maybe even brazen enough to open the garage door and start up the beast .OR being so close to a mental breakdown that you've actually driven the length of the driveway .:D

Be honest ,I know Santa

There was an exceptionally warm day in mid January that I started it up, backed it out and let it warm up for 20 minutes. Put it back and it's been there since. I lift the cover sometimes but that's about it. Spring will be here soon...I hope. You wouldn't know it looking outside tonight though.

I've been too busy working on renovating the garage to think about much else. Of course at my age, I really don't accomplish all that much before pooping out. Got a cupboard framed in and the door mounted today. I did check the battery tender on the car and it is fully charged so the car is ready to go when the opportunity arises........in a month or so. The days are considerably longer now and over the next week there are only two days where the thermometer won't get above freezing. Things are heading in the right direction. :driving:

Wow the funny thing is just today i pulled the cover off then lost 6 hours in the garage detailing things i thought were already clean. So yes i think i am a victim of withdrawal.

Kent:D

I'm guilty ...

I do all of the above mentioned . I have a cover for my car but don't have it on because then I can't see it, and it makes it too difficult to open the door and sit in the car .... and "play with the shifter "
I have the lights on in the 'showroom' (garage) all the time , you can't see the car in the dark !

What about dreaming about driving the car ? What category does that fall under ?
Several times a week, I truly do dream about driving the car . After reading Elf's story about driving in that snowstorm, my last dream turned into a nightmare where I was out driving and got caught not only in a snowstorm, but behind a salt truck ! !

Please hurry spring ! My mental stability depends on it ! :D

One the benefits of living in Vancouver, I pulled her out of the garage, and take her for a spin every few weeks. Today it was 9* and sunny. Went for a late evening cruise with the top off!
looking forward to spring/summer!

I find my cover effective at preventing me from too much messing around.

I've purchased some things like FP, and am starting to suffer from withdrawl though. I'm glad I got the cover, because staring, sitting in the driver's seat, or other such shenanigans will surely take my withdrawl to new lows.......

withdrawl !!!! hell yeah !!! i have been stumbling around here like a damn mental patient since october !!! i can't even look at the shark - no access till april. i've got a boatload of parts stockpiling here but playing with them gets old pretty quick. thank gawd for this forum and the new nascar season - trying to hang on to the last remaining vestiges of sanity - aarrrrgghhhh !!!!!!!!

Interesting reads ,I think I'm getting ebie gebies and It's only been a week .I do need to get mine back out next warm day and continue my undercar cleaning (Damn salt).

Official comin'out day for me (CAR !!) is April 1st , that's always been my goal .I use to even mark the days on the calendar .It would be 38 days if I we're counting but I don't keep track anymore because that would be childish .

Haven't done any visitations.... I would love to visit my car some day. Throw more fuel in it and give it a kiss but once I start visiting, it'll be hard to stay away and it'll make the winter feel that much longer.

You are a bas&&!!----t--%%ard!!! lol:rofl: Ya guess I'm guilty! I can't even get in my car at this time with my bad leg so I'm satisfied with lifting her tight fitting cover just up over her left rear!!

Sorry C4V just reread my post........please take no offense..........I'm glad someone can still enjoy there car this time of year.

I did the same thing with my Camaro, I had to move it to make room to replace the brakes on my truck so I let it warm up and drove it around the block

I visited with my baby on Family Day, how fittingly nice .Its parked a half hour from my home in heated storage at 7 celcius and it seemed warmer in there...well...after I disconnected the c tec battery maintainer she fired up beautifully and roared to tell me all is fine..that roar is my Corsa Extreme(thanks Manny, still love it)..I reconnected the thing, cover back on...and soon, she be back home....what a sight to see after after 4 months! the beautiful blue paint after removing the cover..was like getting it new again...couldnt keep my eyes off the thing...seems that winter storage away makes you appreciate the car that much more...

Went up to the shop and visited this morning ,I need to hook the tender back up .With snow in the forecast for every other day it looks like it'll be late march or early April .36 more days .
