ANYONE KNOW HOW MUCH HORSE POWER WAS AVAILABLE IN 1950 VETTE ?

WHAT MOTOR OPTIONS WERE AVAILABLE.

If I remember right, the first engine for the first year (1953) was a straith 6 cyl. call the blue flame with 3 carbs and 150 hp

If you find a 1950 Vette, let us know!!!! That would be quite a find, however, I am guessing you meant 1959 Corvette judging by your other post.

would love to see what a 1950 look like.......theboss is right 1953 had the blue flame 6cyl as well as 1954, 1955 was the first year of the V8 but the 6cyl motor was still available, from 1955 to 1961 was the 283 cubic inch motor ( 195Hp in 1955 to 315Hp 1961 fuel injection ), 1962 was the introduction of the 327until 1968.
