That depends upon plant shutdowns and when GM decides to stop production of the 2021 MY.

Looking at last year's stats for the 2020 production:


We see that of the 20,368 2020's made, only 1,490 made their way to Canada: 1,220 coupes and 270 convertibles.

Then looking at Murray's ongoing 2021 production stats:


If 2021 production continues uninterrupted (which I think unlikely) and continues until mid-July (my guesstimate) until GM starts producing the 2022's, that would see about 22,000 2021's made in total. And if the same percentage come to Canada, compared to the 2020's, that would see about 1,650 2021's in Canada.

This is ALL unknown and mere speculation at this point, given all the variables. Another variable is the number of 2020 orders in Canada that were rolled over to 2021's. If that was a statistically higher number than the ones in the States, we may see more 2021's percentage-wise in Canada compared to 2020. Or maybe more Canadians sudddenly "woke up" after the 2020 MY and realized they should jump on the C8 bandwagon so there were proportionately more Canadian orders for 2021's, compared to the 2020 orders that were filled for Canada. Then all of this gets tempered by the C8's being produced and shipped to other countries: more in 2021 compared to 2020. Again, there's too many unknowns so we'll just have to see how this unfolds and get the final stats in due course from GM.
