this year with the depth of the frost we have, the roads around here will likely break up pretty bad when it starts to go out. without the half load restrictions at this time of year, we'd be in a heluva mess.
Around here they are already out patching the patches. A few years ago, they hard surfaced the side road just south of us. Now a lot of traffic comes down this way to avoid the busy highway. As a result, our street gets a real beating, especially at this time of year and it is breaking up pretty badly. It is Canada after all.

Yikes, Stephane, the NCM is dealing with one just like that right now that swallowed a bunch of 'vettes.........and the museum location I was standing on not long ago. Makes me feel weird too.
