One of the best bosses I ever had, Al Thain, was with Champion Road Graders.  He was telling me a story of how they were getting turbocharger failures on their graders.  Did not take him long to see a pattern that all the failures happened on rail shipments.  What he discovered was when the machine was backed onto a flat car the wind would spin the turbo backwards with no lubrication.  Fixed that.
