I'd bet the 1969 ZL-1 would have been a handful. No nannies, manual transmission, tires at 6 inches so. Its a surprise anyone kept it going in a straight line. Now you just flip a switch, go into Launch control and nail it. No driver skill required (so I've heard, LOL)

Like you said keep it in a straight line. And once you are going fast enough to scare the crap out of yourself break in a straight line. Be a tough choice between the ZL-1 and the L-88 though. Both are out of my price range I’m sorry to say. Here is a good comparison of the two bearing in mind that there were only two ZL-1’s produced. Talk about rare !
