With another blustery day coming up tomorrow, I thought I would get things started a little early. I bought my Chevelle new in August '69. It had nothing but the performance options: 427, M20, 4.10 posi and disc brakes. By the spring of '70 I was looking for some tunes so installed an eight track tape player. I also got an AM radio cartridge too. The first tape I bought for the car was, of course, the Beach Boys. When I put the tape in, this is the first song that came up. Beach Boys-In My Room - YouTube I still have the tape player and two boxes of eight track tapes and the AM radio cartridge. I just need another Chevelle to put it in.....perhaps with an LS engine too because there is nothing like when you have good tunes.
