Another Recall

Sorry for the bad news but anyone (like myself) awaiting their C8 arrival will be held up once again as there is another recall concerning the brakes. The issue is not just with the C8 but a few GM models in general. The full story can be heard from Horsepower Obsessed .

They would have to cough up some difference. Don't sell your C7 short by going straight across....lol.

It almost like its a new car model and it is having year one bugs.....who knew?

Good thing GM is being prudent and recalling: easy fix at dealer from what I have read. I'd gladly take a C8 and willingly with due haste take it in for the fix - LOL.

Hmmmm. Tempting? Wait. Thinking thinking thinking. And...no. The answer is no. But you almost had me at “hello”. Sure we’re seeing some first year glitches and a couple of the more recent ones are common to many of the GM line so not just the C8. Rumour has it that it’s all good when you experience the ride so I’ll go with that. I’m told my car will arrive today at my dealer’s if it’s not there already. Pick-up should be next Saturday, subject to recalls, so hopefully I’ll find out about the drive first-hand then.

No surprise as so many new parts to this car. In, the first couple of years owners should expect there may be some recalls. All the testing that GM does is not a substitute for real world usage. The C8 is an awesome car and the bugs will be worked out.
