Aluminum one or Stainless steel ?

With or without a tire pump? and which pump there is two Mini and Micro - both about the same time to fill. The micro is so small

AL is out of stock now...... waiting for a bit to order.

B
Stainless and I don't need a pump. Already have one.

:nailbiting: I hate "pressure" sales ... :cigar: ... potentially running 8 tires now increases the damn odds ... I'll do it before the price goes up .... :angelic:

... what to actually get is a bit confusing though ...

Ladies say the bigger head ones are easier on there hands... Ultralite Extreme is $53.99...not bad. Ladies do use this.... maybe a petite 100lb woman might have a hard time but they flag over hunky men easily ;)

I do send a cheque to Rylie once a year for sales I see from here It is kinda a paper route type thing... don't make much but if I can help you guys be not stranded, that is good.

If you ran out the limited life of your run flat and you had to buy a new tire and one was 40% worn... they would probably say you need two.

Tire height is real key these days with differentials and sensors.

So, one of these for under $100 or $800-1200 in new tires.

It is hard to chose which one ya

The only time I needed this was with my Z06 in Oregon..... never had one of these.... not interested in putting a nail in to test it.... and might be afraid "IF" I ever did 200 mph.... ;)

A few of my friends say it has saved them.... Jeff here has used his a few times... nails run towards the Stig to slow him down.

Thomigun, I have used mine twice both times on my DOL car. Worked very well. I keep a pair of pliers, side cutters, flashlight and a blanket in the trunk with my kit. Hope I never need it for the Corvette but if I do I am ready

I am SUPER happy with my dyna plug tool. It gives huge piece of mind when driving, and not only when driving the Corvette. Whatever vehicle I drive, the tool will come with me and especially when travelling. The family car does have a spare, but when travelling, I don't really feel like unpacking the trunk on the side of the highway to get to the spare and jack to change the tire, then having to fit the full size tire, that's most likely dirty, in with the luggage when the trunk is already full, yuck. Pulling the nail, putting in the plug, and filling the tire with air is so much easier. :D

Buying the kit is insurance that you won't hit a nail or worse. The first summer we had our car, I picked up a nail. Bought one of these kits and couldn't pick up a nail if I tried. Not complaining mind you. It takes up no space at all and is a little piece of mind when away from home.

Hi Bryan
Just sent in my order. With cruising season having arrived it's comforting to know I don't have to worry about being stuck on the side of some back road waiting for help.
