To add to this:
Back in the spring of 2020, the Corvette Club of Ontario decided to take advantage of the fact that there was (or soon would be) a red vette from every generation owned by club members. The decision was made to try to get them all together for a photo shoot to support the club's charitable endeavors. The photo shoot turned into a video making production involving a drone in addition to still shots. That finally happened at Legendary Motorcar Company (
Legendary Motorcar 905-875-4700 - We buy, sell and restore classic, muscle and vintage cars ) this past July in support for their 35th anniversary. As a note, it's well worth the visit to LMC if you are in the area. They've got a fantastic collection of classic cars for sale. Finally we've got permission to post the link to the video:
I was fortunate to be asked to participate with my C6 in this event (it's the
RED C6
). It was a perfect day for the shoot - warm, sunny, little wind. As far as we know, this is the first time all 8 Corvette generations have appeared together all in red at one photo shoot.
I also took a few of my own pics. Here the participants:
The '60 C1 is immaculate.
The 64 C2 is really nice, but for those who have a sharp eye, certainly not stock. It's got the BB hood from a '65 or '66, and under that hood is a 383 stroker. Also, the fenders have been flared
This '69 C3 BB is just simply magnificent:
This Torch Red C4 was spotless:
A very nice Torch Red C5 vert:
I only took the one pic of my 11 GS, also Torch Red.
A very nice Torch Red C7:
And finally, the new kid on the block, a Torch Red C8:
