After market seats

Has anyone attempted to swap their seats out for their c7?
I was told braum GT seats wouldn't fit as it would be very tight. Only their fixed back seats would fit. Also notice the inner side of c7 seats are quite pushed up to centre console transmission area.

There is still room to drop something between the seat and the console... just no room the get it back...
