Congrats. The problem that worries me about these long wait periods, is that once you get the car, one assumes you will have it for a long time to enjoy without issues. I keep thinking about things like theft or accidents (sad thought I know). I tell so many people they should go nuts on tracking services for their car, and they look at me strange and respond with the same old statement, but I have insurance. Let's see how long you will wait once that check from the insurance comes in, the issue remains, long wait times and lack of inventory. Same worry for accidents, will there be parts shortages to repair a damaged car, can't imagine parking our C8 for weeks or months while waiting for a part to come in that is backordered.Going off topic here from your good news of finally being able to order your dream car, but I keep thinking what will happen when I get mine, I will be beyond paranoid where I park that thing, and will have no less than 2 maybe 3 tracking services installed on it. Already testing out 2 now on the wife's Lexus IS F-Sport, one with paid live GPS tracking and live maps.Either way, enjoy the car, and can't wait to experience your excitement when my turn comes some time in spring.
