Last evening I took a 90 minute walk in the rain and wandered into the village. I went by the car lot where Brian and I were both adopted by our cars, thought you'd like a look at the current crop.

A nice looking pair....

sorry to disappoint, I'm talking about cars.

Had Tony's name all over it... I found the Volvo quite interesting, single owner.

CRAP, was looking at it on my BB playbook, didn't notice the mirrors! Thought '73s had funky side vents......still learning. Perhaps, if I had a book about C3's:D

the mirrors on my 76 are the same. the bumper covers are different - the 76 has the little bumperettes.

Was looking on Kijiji and just saw that...damn....so much to learn. My '76 Camaro had the bigger mirrors, thought it was on all the GM cars of that era (since they used the same gawd-awful steering wheel):coolgleam:

you'd think the brits could have come up with something better than lucas ignition given their climate !!!

Ahhh but two stalwart traits of us Brits are keeping a stiff upper lip and humour in the face of adversity. There aren't many things as humorous as a car that quits in the middle of a rainstorm. The TR6 in the photo must feel quite at home.

Actually Doug, the mirrors were widened an inch in '75. They look the same to the passerby.

The little bumperettes were added in '75 as well. :D

The steering wheel was a '76 only item unless you bought a '77 without the tilt & tele. :D
