A First….

For the first time in twelve years that I have owned my car I used the horn. Never once heard the sound it made.

On the way home from a day at Doug's a guy made a left had turn right in front of me at highway speed. He looked right at me and pulled out. I was surprised that all four wheels locked up. Lots of smoke. I leaned on the horn and I guess the guy felt really bad because he gave the the finger. What an a$$hole.

However I have never heard such a wimpy sounding horn in my life. It was embarrassing to hear. Maybe someone changed mine with a Skoda horn or something. I am putting in an insurance claim tomorrow for a new pair of shorts.

Some people's kids.................especially to flip you when they are in the wrong, even worse.

Sort of reminds me of the joke I heard once about the American who came to Canada and said "you guys sure do things smart around here. Everyone who is a hazard on the road you give them yellow licence plates to put on their vehicles to warn the other drivers.............."

You'll have to be a certain age to get this or from a certain part of the country.

Glad the ABS was working well that day!

I got one of those dash cams and will have to install it permanently. As long as you are in the right, they are pretty good proof as to what actually happened.

Bet that got the heart pounding a little.

The horn should have 2 tones once of which may not be working -- locate the 2 and wiggle the connectors.
Vette horns are usually quite nice sounding.

Yes the heart was pounding a little quicker. Just could not believe that when I looked in the mirror the guys arm is out with a finger in full flight.
