A little more progress. Frame is heading out this week for blasting and some of the deeper welding requirements that ill need done. Then ill be reinforcing the smaller stuff. Epoxy, sealing and may even bed liner the parts that will surely take a beating on canadian roads. Found a lot of parts this weekend, so theyll start trickling in soon as well!

I also found some spots for deeper welding in my frame. Once you get into it you notice a lot more too, especially after blast. I ended up filling in all the factory stitch welds to solid and had extensive repairs to the dog legs.

Good luck, looks like you are progressing.

I actually got the shop cleaned up and might get back to my project!

May have to throw in the towel on this frame. Im ready to start building, but this frame has a lot of questionable issues. And finding a frame shop to verify how straight it is, is apparently going to be a problem!

If you are careful you can achieve good results. The AIM has the frame dimensions (check points) to use to verify. I didn't find it that difficult to follow. As for issues....you just keep working through them one at a time. don't get overwhelmed and cut a bunch apart at once.

I am sure you can repair the frame with enough effort. Of course if there is a solid frame available that is a good option too!
