Here's what's happening this week..
It's show season so I thought I send out a reminder of some of this weekend's Car events.

Wednesday July 12th
A&W @ 23rd and King George Blvd. South Surrey. Evening cruise-in. 5pm - 8pm

Thursday July 13th
MCDonalds Richmond on #2 Road. evening cruise-in. 5pm - 9pm. All makes

FRiday July 14th.
Surrey 192nd & 27th Ave. evening cruise-in. 5pm - 9pm all makes

Saturday/Sunday July 15/16th
Corvettes North has a 2 day, 3 event slalom in Prince George & Quesnel.
A CCCCwr event.*********CANCELLED DUE TO WILDFIRES*******

I don't know much about the following shows but I found them on Harrison's show list.
SUNDAY July 16th
BCHRA Hot Rod Sunday.. Downtown Cloverdale. All makes. All day.

Cartel Classic Car show. 5327 192nd street, Surrey. Open to all makes

I'll be taking the '75 out for these cruise nites.
I might even bring STERLING out for a visit.

I didn't take STERLING tonite.

Tonite was A&W in South Surrey.
A few car guys/gals had never seen the '75 before...
It was a hit.. that car is so much fun.
Shiny, noisy and smells of fuel... kinda like it's owner!

I wanted dessert there tonite..
I asked if they had ice-cream, the fellow said 'NO, Sorry, we don't have ice cream!'
'Do you have a root beer float?
'Yes we have a root beer float.,
'Then I would like a root beer float, hold the root beer!'
'That will be $2.10 sir'
'Thanx'
Other people sitting near the counter that heard this whole exchange just shook their heads!!
I got a nice cup of ice-cream and a big spoon!

Tomorrow nite McDonalds in Richmond, about 50kms away.
They have ice cream.

My best buddy's '66 Chevy II and my C3 together at the Friday nite cruise-in.
150+ cars.
What a great time I had with a 3-day insurance permit. It all ends at midnight.

Well I broke down and put some permanent insurance on the '75 the other day.
That car is just too much fun to drive to pass up this great summer weather.
I was out cruising the past 3 nights.
These pics were tonight at the local gathering .. 150+ cars.

Another buddy showed up with their new 2017 White Z06/Z07 c/w Jake graphics.

hahahaha..... I love it...I want pictures of him driving on the autocross track now....

I haven't quite got to the point where Quinn is allowed in the Vette yet. I have bad dreams of her toenails getting caught in the perforated seat leather ... I may have to break down and get seat covers.... just for her

Roxy is not allowed in mine yet either for the same reason. I have also been thinking of getting a cover as well for the passenger seat only. Maybe we can split a pair of covers someday.

A couple of pics from last night at 192nd street n Surrey..
150+ cars on a typical Friday night.
Ground pounders to cruisers.
The burgundy '74 coupe is set for road racing...LS powered big HP..suspension all modified.
The fellow built/painted the whole car himself.
My '75 coupe....
The red '66 Chevy II is my best bud's car. Very nice.
Another long time friend was out with his '67 Roadster...he's owned it for 42 years!!

Great night out in the sun.
